ResponsibilitiesDuties We are supporting the European Space Agency with highly qualified services at the European Operations Control Centre ESOC in Darmstadt. For a new service position within the area of Earth Observation Data Systems we are searching for a Data System Management DSM engineer to complement our international service team! You will support and provide services related to Mission Data Systems MDS, which include Mission Control System, Mission Planning System, Operational Simulators, Service Provision Data Centre and Advanced Software Applications, whilst the required focus will be on Mission Control Systems. Among others, the activities include Development and Maintenance of MDS Mission Data Systems Specification and management of software requirements Contractual and technical preparation for new MDS projects Running MDS software development and maintenance projects Support the deployment, testing, configuration of MDS Support to Missions critical activities Organisation of software support SWS onsite environment preparation Act as a role of Software Coordinator in the Flight Control Team Support to missions during the whole lifetime Further tasks are Assume the data system architect role for special projects Support to study, innovation and standardisation Prepare proposals Run approved studies or innovation works Analyse root causes of issues and provide corrective actions Evaluate new tools and techniques to drive efficiencies Manage cloud infrastructure services and accounts Keep evolving system and application monitoring infrastructure Detailed information on the missions and the activities of ESOC can be found on www.esa.int QualificationsExperience University degree in a relevant engineering field, computer engineering, physics or equivalent with high grades. Position Reference 667 We are currently looking for an Integrated Management System Coordinator to work in our office in the city of Wavre, Belgium. The IMSC will contribute to the process improvements within RHEA Group in line with business priorities and our Integrated Management System IMS following the requirements of the ISO9001 Quality Management System QMS, ISO27001 Information Security Management System ISMS standards and, as necessary, future standards to be added to the framework i.e. ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO50001, etc. The IMSC will support and work in coordination with the QAM, Chief Information Security Officer CISO, Data Protection Officer DPO and different process owners roles. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Writing, reviewing, updating, harmonizing, and suggesting improvements to the existing and missing processes, and their related policies and procedures necessary to support the continuous improvements and scope adjustment at the Group level. Support the trainings preparation and delivery to all employees within RHEA Group. Support the realization of other activities, helping to identify, monitor, track and verify continuous improvements within the different processes included in the IMS such as Processes improvements, eliminating nonadded value activities and applying the Lean 6 sigma principles. Reporting on KPIs Key Performance Indicators, monitoring objectives, goals, targets on key actions and processes. Risk assessment, prioritizing risk according to the predefined company criterias for it assessment within QA and ISec fields. Internal audits, identifying gaps, improvements opportunities and NC to be solved. Corrective actions followup. Support to BIDs and necessary related documentation. Support QAPA roles within operational projects as necessary Change Management. Control measures support and implementation. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Bachelors degree. Previous work experience in process improvements in i.e. in Finance, HR, IT, Management, IndustrialAerospace Engineering, Legal Compliance, QA, Information Security, HS fields. High degree of initiative and autonomy, taking ownership of specific duties, tasks, processes, Business Unit assigned for followup given an initial broad direction provided by the QAM. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Process Improvements Lean Six Sigma, green level belt. Experience in ISO9001 QMS ISO27001 ISMS certified working environments or similar. Writing and reviewing policies and procedures in accordance to different standards and regulatory frameworks. Internal audits experience. Risk assessment. Trainings preparation and delivery.
