The Market Development Technology Officer will be responsible for management of RD activities, focussing on the development of GNSS receivers, user terminals and user solutions encompassing the whole value chain in priority EGNSS market segments. SheHe will support the team in these and other related tasks as specified below Planning and management of EGNSS RD project portfolio Analysis of technology solutions involving receivers and all elements of the value chain in priority EGNSS target markets. Preparation of technical specifications of RD projects for the development of receivers and user terminals aiming at filling existing technology gaps vs. identified user needs and market situations. Planning, management of the projects, coordination with other departments such as procurement and legal teams, with technical and business experts and interfacing the main stakeholders. Contribution to the definition of market strategy, also involving RD, towards EGNSS integration in the value chain. Contribution to the definition of EGNSS user requirements in view of services and system evolution Having a deep understanding of EGNSS features, other systems and user trends, update of EGNSS value proposition, presenting the value added of European GNSS services by market segment compared to other satellite navigation systems and other positioning technologies. Support to the preparation of Mission Requirements Document MRD by translating user needs into user requirements for each user community. Interface stakeholders for matters related to the definition of user requirements, differentiators and related user benefits. Implementation of actions related to EGNSS evolution aiming at widest adoption and user satsfaction Analyse and assess EGNSS differentiators features and benefits in priority target market segments. Implementation of priority actions aimed at the full realization of EGNSS differentiators within the critical path meeting the windows of opportunities for adoption. Analyse results of user tests. Assess results of the Users and Stakeholders Satisfaction processes in order to to contribute to the EGNSS evolution. Furthermore, the Officer will contribute to other tasks of the Market Development Department as deemed necessary and to the overall GSA processes such as quality management and reporting.
