US apparel imports have very differently moved in the first three quarters of the year, depending on origins and product categories. China remains by far the leading supplier of the US market whereas rival countries have not been able to radically reduce its share in 2018. A surge of tariffs as part of the US-China trade war would of course radically change the picture. The report also includes a detailed comparison of Chinese price trends vs other origins, through a series of indexes. Honduras raises $1bn in textile investments under 2020 plan
