It provides insight on download behaviour during last three months, which kind of Apps are downloaded and which of the mentioned Apps are installed on smartphone. Split is given for market, provider (Hi, KPN, T-Mobile, and Vodafone), age, gender, pre/postpaid, type of OS (Apple, Blackberry, Windows Phones, Andriod) and for Android also a split on handset brand (HTC or Samsung). This report is based on the continuous online survey conducted by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel over the past twelve months. Every quarter at least 7,500 consumers are asked about their use of mobile telephony, broadband connections, fixed telephony and TV, including details on their current situation, purchasing habits, usage and churn. Samsung Electronics' Galaxy tablets do not infringe on an Apple design right, the District Court of The Hague ruled Wednesday in response to a request by Samsung. At issue was Apple's registration of a rectangular tablet with rounded corners as a "Community Design," a form of intellectual property right available in the European Union that allows businesses to prevent others from copying the outward appearance of their products. Apple has attempted to assert the design right to prevent sales of Samsung tablets before, with mixed results.
