T-Mobile, Tele2 match Vodafone revenue share in Dutch market in Q3

(Telecompaper) The contraction in the Dutch mobile services market slowed to 1.1 percent in the third quarter, for EUR 988 million in revenues. Compared to the second quarter, revenues rose 3.3 percent, better than the usual seasonal pattern, according to the latest research from Telecompaper.

(Telecompaper) It may be only a slight exaggeration to say that the EC single-handedly pushed up the European telecoms sector in week 48. Its decision to allow the Dutch merger of T-Mobile and Tele2 to continue without conditions helped our index to move up by 4.0 percent, strongly outperforming the EuroStoxx 50 index (+1.1%). The year-to-date performances of both indices are now almost identical at -9.4 percent.
