(Telecompaper) South Korean operator SK Telecom posted revenues of KRW 17.520 trillion in 2017, operating income of KRW 1.537 trillion, and net income of KRW 2.658 trillion. Backed by higher sales in its media and IoT sectors, SK Telecom's revenue increased by 2.5 percent year-on-year. The operator also reports that, for the first time since 2014, it achieved a successful sales turnaround.

NTT Group's 9-month net profit jumps more than 34%

(Telecompaper) Japanese operator NTT Group reported a 34.3 percent increase in its net profit for the nine months ended 31 December 2015 to JPY 604 billion. Revenues rose 3.8 percent year-on-year to JPY 8.49 trillion, and operating profit jumped 23.7 percent to JPY 1.1 trillion.
