CNC Plasma Cutters feature micro stepper control system.

2015-01-23 14:32:21| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Available in 4 x 4, 4 x 8, and 5 x 10 ft sizes, HPLC Plasma Cutters feature all steel construction with rack-n-pinion drives on X and Y axes, and ballscrew on Z axis which provides precise torch positioning, high-speed cutting up to 800 ipm, and ability to cut up to 1 in. thick steel. Control system is powered by brushless micro stepper motors that require no maintenance and deliver continuous, high-speed performance. To reduce smoke, machines have steel V-grid down draft and water spray nozzle.

12 V Motor Drivers eliminate stepper and brushed DC motor tuning.

2014-12-16 14:32:23| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Respectively available in 24-pin, 4 x 4 mm QFN package and 16-pin, 5 x 6.4 mm HTSSOP, DRV8846 and DRV8848 reduce spin-up time to seconds. DRV8846 incorporates adaptive current control technology and 1/32 micro-stepping indexer to automatically tune motor performance for precise, smooth, and quiet motion. DRV8848 can operate without current sense resistors and simplifies designs by using PWM control interface and minimal external components. Both models are fully fault protected.
