So am I, primarily because of American's cheap valuation/excellent management, who have been smart enough to not hedge, and take full advantage of the new and consolidated airline industry. American Airlines investors just can't seem to catch a break- after trading around 20% down YTD, it has essentially gone nowhere over the past three months, despite oil plummeting another 30%.

Several brokerages have updated their recommendations and price targets on shares of Spirit Airlines in the last few weeks: 9/25/2015 - Spirit Airlines was upgraded by analysts at Cowen and Company from a "market perform" rating to an "outperform" rating.
