Main Responsibilities The job holder will be part of the Serco Copernicus Cloud Team. The main tasks are the following Analyse new opportunitycontractproject about Security Network area and improving current cloud computing environment Support the infrastructure team in order to design, implement, review and update the security posture, firewalling rules Cisco, Check Point, Switch Cisco Catalyst L3 e Load Balancer Cisco ACE Drive the Security Best Practices apply managing the network firewall flow and the internet trafic Create network balancing onearm, twoarm and direct server response Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will bring Knowledge in managing Security environment, firewalling and network rules Knowledge of Network management Experience with some of the following cloud platforms such as OVH, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM etc. Strong communication skills and team player approach Fluent in English written and spoken Ability to work autonomously and in dynamicinternational team Public speaking skills and ability to expose topics in public. F5 buys fraud prevention specialist Shape Security for USD 1 bln

(Telecompaper) F5 Networks has agreed to acquire fraud prevention specialist Shape Security for USD 1 billion, subject to certain adjustments. Under the deal, F5 will buy all of the shares of privately held Shape and then incorporate the company's machine learning and AI-powered capabilities into its portfolio of application services. F5 noted that the transaction will accelerate its growth momentum and more than double its addressable market in security. F5 CEO Francois Locoh-Donou explained: the companies will together deliver end-to-end application protection and that their combined technologies will open up a "fast-growing USD 4 billion adjacent market."

Cisco to buy cloud security specialist CloudLock

(Telecompaper) Cisco announced its intent to acquire CloudLock, a privately held cloud security company based in Massachusetts, for USD 293 million. CloudLock specializes in cloud access security broker (CASB) technology that provides enterprises with visibility and analytics around user behavior and sensitive data in cloud services, including SaaS, IaaS and PaaS. The acquisition will further enhance Cisco's security portfolio and build on Cisco's Security Everywhere strategy, designed to provide protection from the cloud to the network to the endpoint, the company said. The purchase price includes assumed equity awards, plus additional retention-based incentives for CloudLock employees who join Cisco. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of October.

One of our business partners from the defence and aerospace domain, is looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist extensive experience in the field of Military Defence Systems The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for the integration of cybersecurity into the organisations Ballistic Missile Defence Architectural model. This includes, but is not limited to, alignment with NATO STANAGs, AQAP and Directives as they pertain to the Agencies Communications and Information Agency Cybersecurity Service Line and the NGCS Enterprise WAN.
