Position Reference 883 We are currently looking for a Quality Management Engineer to work at our clients premises, one of the main Space Institutions in the city of Darmstadt Germany. This temporary mission could be extended, as part of a future QA service, representing an extension of 3 extra years. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the implementation of Internal Quality Audit Programmes and ISMS Audit Programmes. Perform Internal Quality Audits, as Lead or Support Auditor, acc. ISO 9001 andor ISO 27001, following internal working practices IQA COWP and external standards ISO 190112018. Monitor the suitability and implementation of EMS documentation and propose changes as considered needed. Implement necessary changes to the EMS documentation maintaining DCN activities e.g. support the initiator, analysis of changes, recording of changes. Propose new or updates to existing QM related documentation e.g., working practices, guides, etc., as considered needed Contribute to the implementing changes related to EMS compliance towards ISO 90012015 and to further streamlining of the EMS. Monitor the development of international standards and assess their relevance to the EUMETSAT Management System. With regards to the EMS process modelling Monitoring the evolution of Symbio tool and administrating necessary changes Maintain Symbio database and library Support the process pilots and HDivs. and QA engineers performing the annual Process Reviews, for all EMS Processes control and monitoring of the existing process, according to the Process Review Guide Perform update of EMS process descriptions in the Symbio tool Support other divisions in modelling lower level supporting processes, outside EMS process landscape, using Symbio tool Generate reports on new required process to be put in place as requested by the Technical Officer. The support to the process reviews shall be done with the coordination of Technical Officer. Give presentations on the EMS documentation to newcomers as requested. Support the TO in the preparation of other internal trainings. Provide administrative support in QM Unit tasks, such as proofreading and finalising of documentation, minutes of meetings. Update the established metrics and or indicators. Propose new metrics and their implementation as requested by the Technical Officer. Monitor and contribute to the Risk process by means of reports on the implementation of the Risk Management process as defined in the applicable Cross Organisational Working Practice and support of identification of opportunities for improvement related to the Risk Management. Gather relevant Lessons Learnt as requested by the Technical Officer. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in a technical discipline and vocational training in quality management. Knowledge and experience at least 3 years in Quality Management Systems definition, development, management and documentation and certification and ISO 9000 series of standards, including knowledge of ISO 90012015 standard. Professional work experience at least 2 years in a position related to quality management, in large and complex organisations where business processes analysis and modelling were implemented. Very good personal communication skills oral and written. Very good skills in using IT proficient knowledge of use of MS Office, HTML, experience in the use of tools for electronic documentation. Very good attitude to team working. Experience with or significant knowledge of some of the following ISO 90012015 internal quality auditor or secondparty auditor according to ISO 190112018 ISO 270012013 implementer or internal auditor Experience in business process management and sound handson experience with process modelling tools e.g. Symbio. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of ECCS standards. Description Quality Management Engineer in the Quality Assurance Management Section, Quality, Dependability PA Support Division, Product Assurance Safety Department, Directorate of Technology, Engineering Quality. The postholder will provide quality management support to the ESA Administration Area, comprising the Directorate of Internal Services and the Directorate of Industry, Procurement Legal Services.
