Nashville real estate trust sells two sites for $97M

Healthcare Realty Trust , a Nashville-based health care real estate investment trust, has sold two medical buildings totaling 176,000 square feet for $97 million. The properties in Indianapolis are a 118,000-square-foot orthopedic inpatient surgery hospital and a 58,000-square-foot medical office building.

Hawaii's retail real estate market draws several national tenants, new report says

Hawaii's retail real estate market continues to hum along, with the statewide vacancy rate dipping to 5.7 percent and asking rents increasing to $5.75 per square foot per month, when comparing quarter-over-quarter totals, a new report says. In the second quarter of 2015, Hawaii's retail market experienced positive net absorption, or space leased, of 9,351 square feet, mainly due to new tenant entries into Oahu and Maui regional malls and specialty centers, the CBRE Hawaii Retail MarketView said.
