Noticing how much patrons like the one-off blackboard specials at their brewpubs, Victory co-owners Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet are trying something new this year: blackboard beer specials. Each of four seasonal specials will rotate through the pubs and distribution for three months, starting now with the Agave IPA with Grapefruit, followed by Dry-Hopped Brett Pils, Berliner Weisse with Elderflower and Oatmeal Porter with Hazelnut .

These photographs donated by Canadian philanthropist David Thomson will form part of the new collection at the National Gallery of Canada The Canadian Photography Institute, which will be housed within the National Gallery of Canada, is intended to become one of the world's most comprehensive collections of photographs covering the entire history of the medium. David Thomson, art collector, chair of Thomson Reuters Corp. and long-time patron of the gallery, will add to the collection for the next 10 years.
