Chesapeake man charged with murder of 84-year-old Norfolk man

A 37-year-old Chesapeake man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an 84-year-old Norfolk man who later died as a result of his injuries. Norfolk Police say they responded to the 1600 block of Oakfield Avenue on December 30th shortly after 2:00 p.m. When officers arrived, they found 84-year-old James Johnson suffering from life threatening injuries.

Prison for man who used a knife in armed robbery of pork from a Family Fare store
