RootMetrics is giving Verizon Wireless a big thumbs-up in its latest biannual ranking of wireless network performance in cities across the U.S. Verizon ranked first or was tied for first in 115 of 125 cities for overall network performance during the first half of 2014, leading all three other national carriers -- AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
