Airbus Defence and SpaceA vacancy for a Technology Specialist and Software Architect mf has arisen within Airbus Defence it is important to you that you remain at the forefront. You excel in the role of software architect and the Agile method is not a mystery to you! You are gifted at sharing this knowledge and enjoy guiding younger or more experienced engineers. You enjoy being invested in all the phases of a project with a preference for the upstream phases. You know how to communicate and persuade others and are able to do so using conventional as well as more contemporary methods. You employ this knowledge to benefit software architecture.You will quickly develop to become a new technology expert in the Operations Products centre which manages software that prepares and executes the observation, telecommunication or scientific satellite operations. These software products are part of a suite which requires technical, architectural, functional and ergonomic coherency. In particular it is made up of MOSAIC automation of satellite or ground segment operations, TELMASOLEA telemeasurement analysis, DALI intersite alignment in real and nonreal time, SYSTEMA Space Engineering and FOST satellite database. These products are used by internal customers at AIRBUS Defence Space and sold internationally.This position will require security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities.In this context, you will be in charge of the following activities Guiding the technical development of the centres products, Defining the technical roadmap, Ensuring that your knowledge level remains uptodate by analysing and evaluating new technologies and tools, Studying the technical feasibility of the projects, Steering the RTRD activities, Contributing your skills as expert and architect to the department and beyond, Participating with various technical networks that serve Airbus Defence Space, Supporting the development of software products, Producing prototypes and, if necessary, leading an entire project to its completion, Coaching the members of the department to develop their technical proficiency.
