We are currently looking for a Galileo Mission Planner to support our customer in Germany. Galileo Mission Planner Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will be responsible to fulfil task of engineering for Mission Planning operations and Team Planning, in particular Preparation and validation of Mission Planning operations scenarios and procedures Preparation of the Planning DBs for Galileo IOVFOC Weekly Timeline Generation, including Planning Request processing Pre and post launch planning activities Team Plan Generation in accordance to the weekly timeline, the qualification matrix and staff availability plan Implementation of short notice changes in the team plan and notification of team members, if needed. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering or equivalent Several years of professional experience in SC operations preparation Experience in mission planning for SC missions Experience in Spacecraft Operations Execution LEOP, Commissioning, Routine, Contingency In depth knowledge of the Galileo project Experience in Team Planning Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Galileo Mission Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will support Galileo Mission Segment GMS operations preparation and validation activities and have the following responsibilities Support the preparation of GMS Operations Plan including the maintenance of the operational products Preparesupportexecute GMS related system operation validation activities SVTSCTCETE Preparesupportexecute software engineering activities Ensuresupport GMS databases preparation, coordination, synchronisation, verification Give support to training and sim campaign Support internalexternal servicesactivities Monitor performance services and trigger corrective actions Generate and maintain groundmission operations documentation Follow upsupport reviews and milestones Interface to the management and groundflightmission operations team Generate reports as required Take over mission operations positionsduties on call as requested Upon request of the Mission Operations Manager, act as deputy MOM.
