CGIs space team is growing rapidly and has a particular need for an Integrated Logistics Support ILS Practitioner. You will join our busy team working on a number of programmes across the Sector including the prestigious European Galileo Navigation programme. Your role will need you to contract with, and manage external suppliers for the delivery of ILS projects as well as develop proactive relationships with suppliers and support agencies. You will have manager and team leadership skills and must have the ability to write clearly and concisely. You need to be flexible in approach to work and have strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Some travel to client sites may be required. In terms of skills you should have some or all of the following Essential An Engineering background with a relevant degree or previous related experience. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more ILS engineering experience Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point. Good written and verbal communication skills Track record of successfully leading or managing a ILS project Desirable Obsolescence Management tracking, reporting, writing TNsmaking recommendations for replacement items. Ability to work with Design teams, Infrastructure teams, Security teams etc to suggest cost effective functional replacements May also want to get them specifically responsible for RMA, Repairs and tie this into DRACAS and updating fault analysis spares modelling Broad spread of ARMT skills, including both hardware and software Experience in the use of ILS Tools such as OmegaPS, Analyser, Isograph etc Knowledge of Software Design Development. Experience of working with MoD and the Armed Services and knowledge of the approach to ILS detailed in AOF framework SSE Understanding of the processes and procedures for Integrated Logistics Support ILS and or Contractor Logistic Support CLS within the UK MOD domain. This role is based in Leatherhead, and will require the majority of the candidates time to be spent at our Leatherhead offices. Opportunities for smart working can be discussed during the selection process. This role includes the opportunity for some occasional international travel to client sites, especially within Europe. Starting salaries depend on the current level of expertise and experience.
