The successful applicant will join TOLS Lean Space Systems. You will be responsible for the deployment of Lean across Space Systems Stevenage. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, for the whole site of Stevenage Shaping the improvement projects together with our internal customers Engineering, Industrialisation, Programs, Support functions Voice of Customer. This implies starting with the definition of the target, measurement of the AS IS, analysis of the root cause, construction of the improvement, the associated business case and its application. On the projects of your portfolio implement the improvements by diagnosis, moderation and coaching of relevant LEAN methodologies. Facilitate and coach Lean Product Development methodologies. This requires solid knowledge of system engineering and Concurrent Engineering. Training the managers and employees to spread lean mindset. Proactively running analyses and initiating improvement initiatives. Challenging the company via external benchmarks, state of the art methodologies and a lot of common sense. The Lean organisation being transversal you will support projects outside of your portfolio, eventually on other business lines of Airbus Defence and Space and you will be supported in your missions by the rest of the Lean team, located on several sites. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a degree level in Engineering within ENS or Telecom environment. Experience in Lean and Process Improvement. Solid experience in system engineering and project management. GreenBlack belt is desirable but not essential. Project and Process Management. International experience and experience in coaching would be a plus. Experience in MS Office. Excellent communication and presentation skills Team player. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a Masters degree or equivalent 3 years of experience in Lean and process improvement experience in system engineering knowledge in project management International experience and experience in coaching would be a plus GreenBlack Belt is desirable Excellent communication and presentation skills team player Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo would be appreciated Negotiation level of English and French.
