We are currently looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Process Manager to support our customer in Germany. Procurement and Supply Chain Process Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. In this role you will have the following responsibilities Apply process ownership of Procurement, Supply Chain Logistics end to end processes and safeguard transparency Developing, managing, improving and communicating the supply management related processes by following the Lean philosophy Preparing and implementing process documentation handbooks, instructions, guidelines covering the complete Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics Processes Conducting regular benchmarks reviews of the Procurement organization to ensure continuous improvement of the applied processes Ensure compliance by conducting internal controlrisk selfassessments and process observations within Procurement Providing audit certification support inside Procurement aligned with Quality Leading transverse Lean and improvement projects throughout the Procurement organization Developing and providing training concepts and supporting execution of trainings Ensuring communication flow down to internal customers and stakeholders. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Management or equivalent Several years experience in project management Experience in procurement or supply chain management would be an asset Experience in LEAN Six Sigma and a Green Belt would be an asset Experience within process improvement and with QM systems e.g. EN9100 would be an asset Ability to manage conflicts and openmindedness Fluency in English and German is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. "Fast facts" survey launched by IPC will provide data with which to assess current state of supply chain for military electronics suppliers and issues surrounding trend toward lead (Pb)-free electronics. Open to participation by all manufacturers of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies for military or aerospace applications, this confidential survey will be available until March 27. Responses are confidential, and only aggregate data will be published in report.
