Data Processing System and Framework Engineer 1513036 Job Description We are looking for a Data Processing Engineer to support our client EUMETSAT at their headquarters. The operational, technical and scientific activities will be conducted under the responsibility of the EUMETSAT Copernicus Sentinel3 Operations Team within the EUMETSAT Operations and User Support Department with the support of the EUMETSAT Technical and Scientific Support Department. Tasks and responsibilities The Key Persons duties will include a range of tasks, from preparing and providing the support of the day to day operation and maintenance currently in the preparation phase, the analysis, and testing of the facilities which also includes the handling of anomalies, design of upgrades and configuration changes for these facilities. The Consultant will be the focal point when it comes to integrating the individual SW Facilities into a data processing system, covering all aspects of system integration and testing, including endtoend testing of the production system. Tasks will also contain the settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures as well as the coordination with external providers of maintenance services.
