You will actively collect and define technical requirements and processes for implementing Service Platforms. This comprises interface management as well as coordination across multiple internal teams and customers. A further part of the role is in the leadtoorder domain providing customer focussed technical proposals. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Design, specify and implement services Data Video at SES Gateway and Teleport locations for High Throughput HTS satellites, Widebeam GEO satellites and MEO satellites Lead technical coordination for endtoend RF service commissioning Design subsystems and implement RF earth station equipment including antennas, HPAs, switch matrix, updown converters, modulators and interfacility connection equipment Design, specify and manage the integration of measurement, communications monitoring and control systems including Service InOrbit Testing and MC Systems Perform transmission analysis, in particular link budget calculations and studies in support of business development and customer services Define and specify facility and IP infrastructure for such ground based systems Resource constraint planning and project management Handle budgets and procurements Manage installations and operational handover of ground segment, services and communication systems Coordinate with other functions Project Control, Legal, Finance for the transparent and effective realisation of assigned projects Deliver clear, concise, timely and constructive strategic or technical guidance YOUR PROFILE ElectricalTelecommunications Engineering degree BSMS or similar Minimum 5 years of relevant handson engineering experience in the satellite communications domain as Development or Systems Engineer, Test Integration Engineer, andor Project Manager Minimum 5 years handson experience in RF measurement techniques, test and verification of ground stations and auxiliary systems Proven flexibility and reliability in delivering successfully ground solutions globally without direct supervision CanDo attitude, customer satisfaction mindset and cross departmental collaborative approach Thorough understanding of and ability to use System Engineering processes ExcellentGood command of MS Office package Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Autocad, Excel VBA, Windows and Linux or similar Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.
