ID, motor provides 97 oz-in. peak torque and no-load speed of 1,900 rpm. Models are available with ultra-low distortion sine-cosine encoder, digital incremental encoder with 1.25 million counts/rev, or absolute 17-bit Gray code encoder.

Device integrates 3-phase pre-driver circuits, fail-safe relay pre-driver circuits, and motor current detection circuits, with range of failure detection circuits, including VB over/under voltage, VCC over/under, over temperature, and short detection. Housed in 12 x 12 x 1.6 mm LQFP64 package, IC provides 11 pre-driver channels and operates from -40 to 125°C at 4.5–18 V.

With CANopen interface, up to 127 Brushless DC Motors can be connected with single, shielded 2-wire cable. Data may be transmitted at speeds up to 125 kBd at distances over 550 yards. At lower baud rates, transmission distance can exceed 3 miles, making communications flexible to virtually any location. Able to withstand up to 80 Vdc regenerative energy, CANopen-enabled motors utilize 2 safety inputs to cut down power in motor even if microprocessor has failed.

Available to replace individual arc segments or slabs with multipole ring magnet, extruded neodymium magnets for brushless DC motors come in different sizes. Magnets are made by extruding bonded neodymium compound through die with established ODs and IDs. With isotropic material characteristics, final magnet can be magnetized to any multipole pattern, including skew patterns, either before or after shell assembly. Length can be adjusted to support various motors within frame family.
