IDA 2 Reveals Interference In Complex Signal Structures

2015-09-21 10:45:53| rfglobalnet Downloads

Today’s conventional spectrum analyzers that utilize the super-heterodyne principle can no longer adequately investigate wireless signals. Spectrum analyzers must use digital signal processing and wideband FFTs to be able to distinguish closely spaced signals, and to reliably detect overlapping signals. The IDA 2 can be used to simultaneously measure wireless signals with microsecond time resolutions, and frequency resolutions of a few Hertz. This application note discusses the practical uses of the IDA 2’s high-resolution analysis of wireless signals.

Reuters: A wildfire destroyed hundreds of homes and forced thousands of residents to flee as it roared unchecked through the northern California village of Middletown and several nearby communities, fire officials said on Sunday. The so-called Valley Fire, now ranked as the most destructive among scores of blazes that have ravaged the drought-stricken U.S. west this summer, came amid what California fire officials described as "unheard of fire behavior" this season. A separate fire raging since Wednesday...
