Sappi has permanently stopped production of coated woodfree paper on the 80,000 tonne/yr PM 1 at its Stanger mill in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The firm will instead make uncoated woodfree paper on the machine, taking on some of the Enstra mill's business.
