Using cool mirror technology, Ultra-Accelerated EMMA provides 10-12 yr of equivalent radiation exposure as would be received in South Florida in single year. Device tracks sun while concentrating reflected sunlight on test specimens in 6 x 30 in. target area. Mirror has very high reflectance in UV and near visible wavelength while attenuating reflectance in longer wavelength visible and IR portions of spectrum, allowing for high concentrations of UV energy without excessive heating of samples.
