The Position Our customer, Deutsche Flugsicherung DFS wishes to develop a Thin Client OS prototype. This prototype will support various protocols e.g. HTTPHTTPS, x11, NX, VNC, RDP. Automated installation and rollout processes are to be developed, to work with different hardware types. Furthermore, the corresponding test environment must also be developed. We are looking for an experienced engineer who will make this prototype happen! The position is located at the customer site in Langen. Successful candidates will be able to take responsibility for their work and be selfreliant, as well as being a team player with good communication skills. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should bring the following skills and experience at least 5 years of experience in IT System Administration expert knowledge and significant work experience of Linux operating systems RedHat and SLES as well as good command of Microsoft Windows expert knowledge and experience in VMware vSphere virtualisation provision of IT services according to ITIL best practices Expertise and experience in IT Architecture and Design high and lowlevel good knowledge and experience in security principlesconcepts, secure architectureprotocols, implementation of security controls, tools, etc. expert knowledge and experience in HighAvailability and Clustering solutions at OS and application level good troubleshooting skills incl. root cause analysis In addition to having a university degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in IT System Administration combined with proven skills.
