The Seconded National Experts will be placed in the Project Control department of the GSA in Prague and will be working on several or all aspects dealt with by this section depending on the specific fields of expertise brought by the candidates. The tasks and responsibilities may include the following Specifying, designing and maintaining the project control processes and tools required to properly manage the project schedule, costs, risks, configuration changes, actions and documentation Establishing and maintaining the project control metrics Specifying, negotiating and implementing the project control metrics contractual provisions applicable to the externalised activities incl. participation to the tender evaluations Managing the GNSS programme assets in close cooperation with the EC Elaborating and maintaining the programme status dashboards Preparing communication and reporting to EC and Members States on the programme plans and progress status Liaising with the GSA Administration and Finance Department for work programming, financing and budgetary planning.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT httpwww.gsa.europa.eugsajobopportunities The traineeship shall be based at the GSA headquarters in Prague 7, Janovskeho 4382, Czech Republic and shall last preferably from 16 June to 15 December 2014. If agreed by the GSA and the selected trainee, two extensions of three months each could be granted, which means that the maximum total duration of the traineeship could be one year however the GSA reserves the right to conclude individual contracts according to which the traineeship commencementend will deviate from the above dates specified. The trainees will be expected to carry out the following duties under supervision Compilation of reports, documents and presentations under supervision Development of measures and indicators under supervision Follow up of formal actions and decisions Handling correspondence under supervision Administrative and logistics support for formal meetings Follow up of interactions with the European Commission concerning reporting Assistance with document management Support to EGNOS and Galileo exploitation project control activities
