From the beginning you will be part of our multinational Ground station Engineering service team working at customer premises enabling fast paced space operations including oncall and callout phases. Your new Job We are looking for Ground Station SoftwareHardware Engineers with working experience that wants to face the challenge of joining our engineering service performing the following tasks Support the analysis and the implementationtesting of changes, or reengineering that may be required on the basis of user requirements or maintainability issues in the area of Ground Stations systems and subsystems. This includes the coordination of investigations and rectification of anomalies reported by the operationsmaintenance team and collaborate with manufacturers for anomaly correction and validationverification. Support remote operation and the maintenance of EUMETSAT Ground Stations in the areas of monitoring Control and SW applications and transfer protocols for the spacecraft telemetry, telecommand and mission data, planning and scheduling of the regular ground Station maintenance activities within ongoing operational constraints Support updating and maintenance activities regarding the automated operational Ground stations procedures and related databases Participate to the dailyweekly operations coordination meetings and work with operational representatives also during critical mission phases, pre and post launch i.e. SVT, LEOP, IOT and contingency. Essential Skills University degree in an engineering field relevant to the profile Shown experience in IVV, maintenanceevolution and technical assessmentdiagnosis activities related to softwarehardware equipment in ground station, including MC systems i.e based on Dataminer, TTC and Payload data processing chain Good knowledge and experience in configuration and debugging software applications based on CCSDS standard protocols i.e. SLE Knowledge of the relevant CCSDS and ECSS standards Practical knowledge of any software development languages such Java, C, Python and C Knowledge of XML, JSON, ASN.1 standards Knowledge of standard communication protocols i.e. TCPIP, UDP, SNMP Shown experience with UNIXLinux systems preferably in operations environment Proficiency in spoken and written English Desirable Skills In Orbit Test IOT systems experience Space to Ground and Ground to Space Link budget analysis capabilities Experience in the engineering processes for handling requirements from the definition phase through the traceability, verification, validation and maintenance stages using formal methods and tools e.g. DOORs Practical experience with standard RF and signal processing tools for measurement and tests purposes Your Benefits of joining us Worklife balance Flexible working hours, home office, sabbatical time off for travelling around the world, extended parental leave, further education, etc., option to work part time Financial benefits Company pension plan, net wage optimisation programme including IT bicycle leasing, discounted annual ticket for public transport, employer loans, etc. Employee recommendation scheme We are grateful when our employees support us in finding new recruits.
