What you will be doing Tasks Accountabilities The Airworthiness Product Integrity Centre of Competence, belonging to the Aircraft and Systems Organization, has the main roles to Develop and perform the Airworthiness function for Airbus Defence and Space air systems products including certification, continued airworthiness and airworthiness technical Establish and manage design safety programme and conduct development safety for the air systems developed by Airbus Defence and Space Generate Manuals and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness subject to Airworthiness Authority approval and ensure airworthiness approval of instructions for continuing airworthiness and operational suitability data Develop and perform the independent monitoring function and manage DOAs Design Organization Approvals of Airbus Defence and Space. This responsibility extends to the Airbus Defence and Space collaborative programmes, either with other Airbus divisions or with other external companies, according to the Statement of Work agreed for each particular programme. As a Programme Certification Engineer within our Airworthiness Product Integrity Centre of Competence, your main tasks and responsibilities will include Lead Type Certification activities establish the type certification basis and type design definition develop compliance demonstration programs Manage certification projects with AAs Airworthiness Authorities. Release airworthiness documentation to the AA, i.e. perform airworthiness approvals in accordance with Airbus Design Organization Approval DOA privileges. Manage the internal Airbus Airworthiness Engineering network to ensure certification objectives are met. Coordinate with Airworthiness Process stakeholders within an international working environment. Lead the activity of vehicle type acceptance in foreign countries. Support operators in the demonstration of compliance with operational regulations of AA of the respective country endorse concessions R Restrictions support to customers as interface with AAs during vehicle delivery. Lead Airworthiness Assurance activities ensure that organizational approval requirements Design Organization Approval DOA is fulfilled and maintained. Monitor and validate Airworthiness deliverables and the associated processes for compliance with EMARDEMAR 21. About you Required Skills We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering Minimum 5 years of Engineering experience Several years of experience in the field of military aviation Solid knowledge of aviation law and certification regulations especially in the military regulatory area.
