The Incline Village Board of Realtors and the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors have adopted a joint policy to protect ridgelines from "obtrusive man-modified structures or features." Incline Village board president Tracy Saunders tells the Tahoe Daily Tribune newspaper of South Lake Tahoe, California that they want to "preserve the pristine nature" of real estate sought by their clients.

Tucson realtor uses drone to help market homes

As it flies around a city park in Tucson, Doug Trudeau points out that he's the first person to obtain an exemption specifically for real-estate marketing from the Federal Aviation Administration to fly a drone. Trudeau's unmanned aircraft has a camera mounted on it, so the real-estate agent can take aerial photos of the properties he's trying to sell.

Two companies are teaming up to develop websites that will help Realtor associations be more transparent to their members and meet a crucial deadline. Last May, the National Association of Realtors adopted stricter "core standards" for their nearly 1,400 local associations, expanding the list of programs and services that even the smallest associations must provide to members.
