Qualifications Competencies The successful candidate shall have A Masters degree in ElectricalElectronic Engineering or solid state Physics or related specialization. At least 4 years of relevant professional work experience, ideally acquired in the space industry. Demonstrated background and experience in EEE component technologies in terms of constituent materials, production technology, test equipment, test tools, test methods and standards industrial and standardisation bodies, laboratory techniques, laboratory equipment, laboratory work and procedures including common health and safety regulations. Proficiency in EEE component electrical measurement techniques is required. Knowledge of general component laboratory practices. Desirable Specific expertise in at least 4 of the following fields is required, the remainder are desirable Passive Components Discrete Semiconductors for RF and nonRF Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal and Microwave Hybrid Technology Micropackaging Optoelectronics Prior knowledge and experience with QA activities and audits would be useful.
