Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related specialisation Extensive relevant professional work experience in the field of Passive Components, Discrete Semiconductors for RF and nonRF, Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal and Microwave, Hybrid Technology, Micropackaging, Optoelectronics and MicroNanoSystems proficiency in at least 4 categories is required Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. For our customer, the European Space Agency ESA, we are seeking an experienced EEE Component Engineer to work at ESAs ESTEC site in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Responsibilities You will be assigned to ESAESTECs Space Component Evaluation and Radiation Effects Section within the Directorate of Technology, Engineering and Quality. Qualifications Competencies The successful candidate shall have A Masters degree or PhD in ElectricalElectronic Engineering or solid state Physics or related specialization. At least 10 years of relevant professional work experience, ideally acquired in the space industry. Demonstrated background and experience in EEE component technologies in terms of constituent materials, production technology, test equipment, test tools, test methods and standards industrial and standardisation bodies, laboratory techniques, laboratory equipment, laboratory work and procedures including common health and safety regulations. Proficiency in EEE component electrical measurement techniques is required. Knowledge of general component laboratory practices is mandatory. Desirable Specific expertise in at least 4 of the following fields is required, the remainder are desirable Passive Components Discrete Semiconductors for RF and nonRF Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal and Microwave Hybrid Technology Micropackaging Optoelectronics Soft skills A good command of the English language is necessary.
