Orbital Thread Mills handle tough to machine materials.

2015-08-07 14:31:09| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Available in 2xD and 3xD models, Orbital Unified National Fine Thread Mills feature large shank diameters that promote vibration-free machining. Tough micrograin carbide construction with TiCN coating renders mills suitable for use with ISO material types P, M, K, N, S, and O. In addition, short overhang makes tools particularly suitable for machining of challenging materials such as ISO S alloys, materials of high tensile strength, and materials with spring back effect.

Gadget Ogling: Useful Smartwatches, Orbital Cameras, and an Un-Procrastinator

2015-08-01 17:00:00| TechNewsWorld

Dot is a smartwatch that may have life-changing implications. Rather than trying to convey information through tiny text on a small screen, Dot intends to provide visually impaired wearers with notifications through Braille. Four sets of the six dots that signify characters in the Braille system raise and lower as quickly as 100 times per second to denote four characters simultaneously.

Orbital Welding Power Supply increases operational efficacy.

2015-07-28 14:31:05| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

With lack of openings on top surface preventing small items from falling into printer/CPU section, M217 WDR incorporates 12.0 in. Hi-Res color touchscreen, 2 USB ports, and thermal printer. Connections are positioned to facilitate spacing for weld heads and accessories, and component layout facilitates service. Capable of 5–150 A of welding power and auto-switching between line voltages of 110 and 220 V, 100% duty cycle rated supply employs DC voltage supplies with MTBF of 100,000 hr.
