If you currently work in this sector or a closely related sector then we would like to hear from you. You will ideally have Demonstrable experience in a computing, engineering, space or defence technology role in a commercial project delivery or bidding environment. You must have experience in at least one of the following areas Space Sector Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation, Space Cyber Security, Satellite Communications, Software Development Highlevel programming preferably in an OO language or structured environment High assurance or safetyrelated applications Scientific or mathematical computing e.g. industrialisation of algorithms, mathematical modelling Requirements management process IT Project management Infrastructure Management Software Technical Architectures Involvement in the entire software design, development and deployment lifecycle You will have a University degree or equivalent in a numerate subject, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to work in an environment where requirements change often and quickly and have the ability to assimilate new information rapidly and derive suitable courses of action. We look for people who are flexible with a willingness to learn and develop in new areas. Given the critical nature of much of our work we need candidates who have a strong attention to detail in all aspects of their work. Roles are expected to be based in the UK, Italy or Germany and will require full time attendance at our CGI offices. This role includes the opportunity for some occasional international travel to client sites, especially within Europe. Starting salaries depend on the current level of expertise and experience.
