TOMS RIVER - A spat is brewing between two neighboring mayors in Ocean County where one town leader accused the other of engaging in anti-Semitic conduct to defend an ordinance banning real estate solicitors in certain areas. Lakewood Mayor Menashe Miller on Tuesday demanded the mayor of Toms River apologize for his comments about the need for the ordinance that Miller claims were anti-Semitic against residents of his town, which has a large Orthodox Jewish community.

If elected president, Donald Trump has pledged to scrap a work visa program that brings 300,000 student workers each year to the U.S. Among the businesses that would be forced to stop hiring foreign labor: Trump's own. The visa, known as the J-1, purports to offer a "cultural exchange" and give American businesses access to guest workers' "specialized skills," according to the State Department.
