Manager, Content Distribution United States Hawley, Pennsylvania ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As the Manager Content Distribution, you will be responsible for supervising a team of highly skilled video engineers working in the field of internet OTT and broadcast distribution of TV signals. You will also oversee the operational and service integration aspects of the Content Distribution vertical. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Act as the primary point of contact for operational and project integration matters related to Content Distribution in the US Manage the technical service integration and 247 3rd level support with respect to all aspects of content distribution and the related teams Responsible for technical services on the Content Distribution platforms Responsible for the delivery of customer and internal projects as well as professional and constructive engagement with other departments and stakeholders to deliver best results in complex structures Work in a matrix organization with a global reporting line and a local dotted reporting line Identify and implement routine checks on technical systems arrange prompt resolution of faults or anomalies to maintain a high level of safety and professionalism for employees and visitors Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets as delegated under your control Develop teams and individuals within the teleport to meet business objectives as well as improve processes to perfect efficiencies Be visible and serve as a role model for the business, fostering an innovative spirit among the teleport employees COMPETENCIES Strong managerial skills Excellent communications skills both written and oral Results oriented and ability to multitask and react to deadlines and changing priorities in a fastpaced environment Adaptability to a dynamic environment Strong personal relations skills Ability to provide professional customer service to internal and external customers High motivation level QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in the communications field required experience can be substitute for education 10 years minimum experience in telecommunication or satellite industry required 5 years minimum experience in supervising technical teams preferred Vast knowledge in broadcast technologies DVB, OTT video distribution preferred Experience in the networking arena, CCNA certification, and other certifications are preferred Project Management experience for complex technical projects preferred Ability to travel 10 of the time required Ability to respond to afterhours issues which require escalation and reside in proximity to site to be available for direction to the team required Whats in it for you?
