The candidate actively participates in executing the SES Networks product strategy for Telco, MNO ISPs and ensures its efficient and effective implementation. Requires strong industry experience in delivering solutions on a global scale. Takes critical business decisions through the provision of robust expert analysis and industry thought leadership. Leading a team to define, develop and launch service offerings aligned to our Fixed Data segment specific markets. This is achieved by having indepth understanding of the Fixed Data Segment customer and their needs, and owning market segment strategy, and alliances. Primary responsibilities Key result areas Lead Market Segment development in terms of strategy, defines priority markets, and addressable customer segments, define potential market opportunities and solution offerings, strategic alliances and gotomarket approach. Build investment cases for new developments, partnerships and inorganic growth Demonstrated experience in leading direct and indirect gotomarket strategies and solutions, including the development of channel partner programs, while simultaneously building strategies to sell solutions directly to Tier 1 MNO Telcos Business Development for Market Segments, in relation to new subsegments and customers, potential partnerships and strategic alliances Owns the Product and Portfolio Pricing Strategy for Fixed Data segment, with input from CFO and Commercial Operations Develop product roadmap and manage product throughout the lifecycle Responsible for defining the segment strategy to address target segmentscustomers in terms of product mix, gotomarket channel strategy, communication and leveraging and managing the maturity of Data Market Intelligence Provide indepth thought leadership, segment best practice and future strategy evolution on both technical and business levels, based on deep understanding of customers, technologies and alliances across the fields of Mobile Operators, TelcoISP, Content Delivery Networks, Content Peering, Data Centre Architectures, Cloud Service Models, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, 5G and IoT Builds, appraises, develops and manages technical capabilities of the team, and the broader SES Networks business, to ensure SES Networks can execute with thought leadership into its chosen market segments Lead by example in organization ethics and morals, and takes strong action against nonadherence to the SES Way of Working, ethics and codes Ability to maintain Clevel conversations and relationships with leaders in MNO Telco, ISP, and Cloud Service Providers Experienced and recognized speaker and subject matter expert in either MNO Telco, ISP or Cloud technologies, solutions or business models Competencies Ability to interpret longterm strategy through definition and delivery of business plans, and manageempower the necessary resource including the coordination of homogenous teams. Establishes and delivers functional objectives Teamwork, ability to take responsibility for building teams and assigning team members to alternative roles other areas of the business, typically covering diverse areas and resolving conflicts which arise from differing goals Relationship management, possesses the capacity to monitor current service levels to ensure agreed standards are consistently delivered. Identifies trends and forecasts future customer needs, recommends and implements changes to continually improve the customer offering. Has the capability to make a real difference to SES business. Is completely attuned to the needs of SES business and where its markets are heading Communication and influencing, has the ability to compile, interpret and present information on complex and important issues.
