Within the Vehicle Mechanical Engineering department TEA11, the Structures and Equipment Mechanical Analysis sector is responsible for the Functional File and the Justification File for the main cryogenic stage for the Ariane 5 launcher, and for the mechanical justification analyses for launcher stages in development and structures designed on the Les Mureaux site. In this context, you will be in charge of conducting the theoretical mechanical justifications in the static andor dynamic fields on launcher top structures developed internally mainly composite. The objectives are the presizing, detailed sizing and qualification of these structures, in collaboration with the design office tasked with general design. You will perform the modelling analytical, Finite Element, etc. and analyses static, dynamic, linear, nonlinear, etc. with the department tools. In the test and qualification phases, you will also be in charge of test specification, followup and operation. The position is fully autonomous, under the authority of the sector manager. You have a mechanical engineering qualification or 5year university equivalent and can show initial experience of at least 3 years in the mechanical analysis of complex systems composite structures in particular. You have good knowledge in finite element modelling and are proficient in NASTRAN, SAMCEF andor IDEAS. You would like to develop skills in structure sizing, modelling and finite element analysis static, dynamic, linear, nonlinear and are interested in the space sector. You have good physical intuition, can show autonomy, rigour and curiosity, and are able to work in a team. This position requires an advanced level of English and a negotiation level of French. The objectives are during the preproject defining the mechanical architecture and presizing to meet the high requirements during the qualification and design phase, the detailled sizing of launchers in all types of mechanical environments and the supply of input for subcontracted products or activities During the qualification and design phase, the specification, followup and analysis of any mechanical tests. You will perform the modelling analytical, Finite Element, etc. and analyses static, dynamic, linear, nonlinear, etc. with the department tools. You will occupy the role of focal point for the NASTRAN software within the department, particularly for dynamic analyses user support, defining and implementing necessary developments, etc. The position is fully autonomous, under the authority of the sector manager. With a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent 5year degree, you have 10 years of proven experience in dynamic analysis of complex systems in NASTRAN. You have good knowledge in finite element modelling NASTRAN, SAMCEF IDEAS. You are interested in a technical position in the space sector. You have good physical intuition, can show autonomy, meticulousness and curiosity and are able to work in a team. This position requires an advanced level of English and a negotiation level of French.
