China to cut coal consumption to reduce pollution: Ministry

Reuters: China will slash coal consumption by more than 80 million tonnes by 2017 as part of efforts to reduce air pollution, according to an action plan released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on Friday.
