The Utah Department of Environmental Quality is offering 389 electric lawn mowers at a discount and offering incentives for getting rid of gasoline-powered mowers. The department's first Lawn Mower Discount and Exchange Program event is on Saturday, May 2, at the Multi Agency State Office Building, 195 N. 1950 West in Salt Lake City.

New Information: Person killed as train crashes into lawn tractor

On April 10, 2015, at 0746AM the Fall Creek Police Department was notified of a crash involving a lawn tractor and a Union Pacific Train in the Village of Fall Creek. Upon arrival of law enforcement and emergency medical personnel, it was determined the driver of the lawn tractor had succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
