NEMA 250 does not cover requirements for protection of enclosed equipment against condensation, icing, corrosion, or contamination, which may occur within enclosure or which may enter via conduit or unsealed openings.

Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Evaluation of requirements for the EGSE in cooperation with the system engineering Design and definition of EGSE Establishment of validation plan DDVPlan Report to the customer within milestone reviews Support the procurement process, mainly for technical issues Preparation of specifications Participation in reviews with the suppliers Involvement in the acceptance process Planning and execution of system acceptance and system integration Training of AIT personnel for EGSE usage. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, physics or aerospace engineering Several years of experience in satellite AIT or EGSE use Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware Knowledge in Space Craft Checkout Systems CCS, preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 TOPE Welldeveloped communication skills and handson mentality Fluency in English is mandatory. Tasks and responsibilities Under the supervision of an EGSE Project Manager, the candidate shall be able to During design phase of EGSE Define the EGSE test strategy against Customer specification Design and setup the EGSE test plans and procedures Define the various induced test setups Ensure requirement coverage via compliance matrices Setup end user training documentation During test phase of EGSE Lead and participate actively to the test campaign Manage, support and follow the test engineers team Identify deviations between test plan procedure, Customer specification and EGSE behavior Initiate anomaly investigations fixingup Support design and development team during anomaly fixingup Setup relevant technical documentation test report, Non Conformance Report, During commissioning phase of EGSE Perform EGSE commissioning Manage Customer objections and detect Customer needs and wishes beyond specification Perform end user training Overall Synthesize test progress in order to report to Project Manager Manage and justify the overall test schedule The candidate will evolve in medium term to hardware and or software ground system design up to system engineer in charge of architectural and detailed design of complete EGSE solutions. Qualification and experience The ideal candidate will have a relevant University degree physics or electronic engineering together with some years workingexperience in EGSE or equivalent hardware software test and a good level of computer skills. Assets in EMC would be significant. RF knowledge would be a plus. Required competences Digital and analogical electronics knowledge Electrical power and distribution knowledge Bus communication knowledge is a plus Position specific requirement Fluency in English, the ability to work in international teams together with a proactive and confident personality is needed. The contractor will face regular short period abroad interventions mainly Western Europe, Kazakhstan and French Guyana. French language knowledge would be significant.
