Support Specialist, Antenna Mechanics Systems Luxembourg Betzdorf Your Job As a Support Specialist Antenna Mechanics Systems you organize and provide 1st and 2nd line maintenance to the 80 antennas in Betzdorf and Redu B. You manage maintenance planning and act as lead interface point for engineering upgrades. You provide rapid intervention for Antenna Mechanics and associated systems on SES growing number of Antenna assets at an expanding global level. Your Responsibilities Proactively ensure and be responsible for the correct functioning state and maintenance of the Antennas and ensure high operational availability Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults and defects in these systems Act as lead interface point for antenna mechanics and associated systems to Ground Systems Engineering in antenna projects Provide adhoc subject related expert support to customers Replace defective system components while minimizing system downtime Coordinate periodic preventative maintenance, taking into account operational activities Operate and drive a Cherry Picker truck up to 33m and work in safety at these heights Follow and keep up to date with legislation on safety regulations and achieve high safety standards Ensure spare parts management within budget Your Experience Qualifications Technician qualification Diploma or degree Mechanical certification 10 years experience working in industry Welding qualifications TIG, MIG, Oxyacetylene, arc etc. Previous knowledge and experience of Antenna Mechanics Systems would be considered as an asset HGV license Heavy Goods Vehicle Poids Lourd Lastwagen Driving license C 3.5 tons and fork lift truck driving licenses Knowledge of safety working practices for working at height and with climbing equipment Manlifter certification Excellent system diagnostic skills Strong team player Demonstrated experience of performing well under pressure Rapid and effective response to any anomalies in the mentioned systems High availability as a result of effective preventive actions of the relevant systems Achieve high safety standards Whats in it for you?
