EPSSG Ground Stations Engineer

We are currently looking for a EPSSG Ground Stations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. EPSSG Ground Stations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. In this role you will have the following responsibilities Support to the generation of ground stations related EPSSG concepts, requirements and design documentation at the Architectural Design Level Identifying and translating the relevant EPSSG usersystemground segment level requirements into specific ground stations system requirements Provide support covering all aspects of the EPSSG ground stations specification and design Provide support covering the link budgets of the EPSSG programme Contribute to the definition of the ground segment data flows regarding the interfaces between the ground stations and the rest of the EPSSG ground segment andor satellites from a system engineering point of view Contribute to the preparation of the EPSSG Validation and Verification VV activities in the area of ground stations and the generation of the initial Acceptance Plan. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering or other relevant discipline Several years experience in a similar role System Engineering practices and experience of requirements engineering Knowledge of ground stations system and subsystem design for TTC Experience in specification and VV of large antennas and tracking systems Experience in TTC baseband equipment and SLE compliant implementations Knowledge of specification and implementation of Mission Data Acquisition baseband equipment System experience with Link budget analysis and tools in S, X and Ka Band Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Yale Environment 360: The European Investment Bank (EIB), the main lending arm of the European Union, has decided to stop financing most coal-fired power plants, part of an effort to help the 28-nation bloc meet ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets by 2030.
