You bring a BSc in Computer Science or similar and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer MSc in Computer Science is a plus experience with the entire agile software development lifecycle, from planning up to deployment and maintenance experience in microservices architecture is a plus experience with Java EE, Spring or comparable frameworks, RESTful web services, MongoDB and Git experience with Azure or AWS, Apache Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes, and CICD the willingness to familiarise yourself with space industry standards CCSDS, ECSS excellent English skills, and good communication skills a mindset to be an integral part of a full stack team. Tasks and Responsibilities EGNOS is a satellite based European augmentation system for GPS signals and the upcoming European Navigation system Galileo. Currently the next generation EGNOS V3 is under development by Airbus. In this context prototype software of an EGNOS subsystem is being implemented and verified. The jobholder fmd works as a Software Engineer supporting the implementation and verification of a test bed to perform simulations to execute and verify the EGNOS V3 prototype software. Implementing scheduling layer, input and output functions Integrate the algorithm models prepared within the team Document test procedures, and perform the tests, and document test reports Perform troubleshooting and detailed data investigation, and raise SW problem reports Support algorithm engineers in problem assessment and fixing. Responsibilities Design, develop, validate and maintain Ground Segment SW subsystems needed for operating Astroscale missions. Also, to develop small tools required for operating of the missions.
