The Position We are looking for a Software Engineer wmd for the development of our prize winning Intelligent Hybrid Modem. The Intelligent Hybrid Modem IHM is a Machine to Machine M2M modem for agricultural machinery, drones and Internet of Things IoT sensors. It utilises the Iridium Network, mobile networks, and Long Range Wide Area Network LoRaWAN, automatically switching to the available network for global, seamless, highavailability connectivity. IHM includes a microcomputer Raspberry Industrial Compute Module running the Linux operating system with generous computation and memory resources. Besides the firmware, also additional application and customer specific software can be run on IHM. This enables IHM to provide Intelligent Functions such as automatic, Rule Based Routing between the different networks, prioritisation of data, and advanced features such as DelayDisruption Tolerant Networks DTN. This position is based at our Headquarters in Darmstadt. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be around June 2021. We are looking forward to meeting you!
