Client and Location For one of our Clients, we are currently recruiting for a HMI Software Engineer for their location in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for the development of automated regression tests using an existing test framework. The test framework is implemented using the TCLTK programming language while the software to be tested is implemented using the C programming language. You will be responsible for the following activities Modify andor amend the existing set of ART test clusters i.a.w. the detailed specifications as provided by the CP developer Execute the tests using the prerelease software on the ClearCase branch provided by the CP developer Review the test report and differentiate ART test problems from problems of the Application Under Test Fix ART test problems Communicate the problems of the Application Under Test to the CP developer for rectification Provide ART tests and reports to peer review and fix the agreed issues Rerun the ART tests until sufficiently successful according to CP developer assessment Save the final test results in ClearCase Perform peer review reports of ART tests and reports of other ATSHMISDP staff as requested. Experience and Education Higher technical education in Computer Science or Information Technology with a focus on Software Engineering or equivalent professional knowledge At least 3 years experience in developing large scale 100 kSLOC operational HMI software, preferably in a Unix environment At least 3 years experience using TCLTK Good knowledge of C Experience in developing and maintaining software and documentation in accordance with recognized industrial quality and safety standards SWAL 3 or equivalent Excellent command of the English language written and spoken Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems, and to present key issues and recommended solutions in a clear, structured and concise way Experience with the ART tool used for the automated regression testing of the CWP Controller Working Positions.
