The Summit County district attorney says a woman has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $400,000 from a local real estate agents' association she had led for nearly two decades. A statement Monday from District Attorney Bruce Brown's office added Sue Frank, the former chief executive officer of the Summit Association of Realtors, is scheduled to be sentenced May 19. She faces up to seven years in jail for felony theft.

The number of building permits issued for residential housing units in Wake County was down another 7 percent in February compared to the year prior, according to statistics from the Wake County Revenue Department .
