The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has a variety of options to clean up a Sherwood site contaminated with animal hides that were discarded more than four decades ago. On Aug. 27, DEQ officials held a meeting to lay out potential solutions to cleaning up what's known as the Ken Foster Farm site.

MCAA Offers NRTL Suggestions at OSHA Stakeholder Meeting.

On October 22, 2014, MCAA representatives, along with ~100 attendees from 50 organizations, attended OSHA Stakeholder Meeting to discuss questions and options regarding OSHA's Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) program. Presenters from 10 organizations gave their reactions to OSHA proposals and interacted with attendees on ways to improve said program. Repeatedly, MCAA’s comments stressed safety and how current system sometimes pushes customers to make less safe choices.
