A vacancy for an AIT Quality Assurance Engineer ExoMars Rover has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Stevenage. Your main mission will be to ensure the proper implementation of the quality assurance rules and that company industrial processes comply with quality assurance requirements and standards. You will validate the product inspection plan and handles product non conformity up to the productservice delivery to the customer. You will have transversal interfaces and you will work with multifunctional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld and implemented. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Check and assess the implementation of the quality requirements defined by the QMS and quality plan. Check that industrial processes properly comply with quality assurance requirements. Define and ensure implementation of products controls. Lead the nonconformity and waiver treatment, analyse quality nonconformity and request for waiver. Monitor corrective and preventive action participate to the taylorisation of the standards. You will lead AIT and gates reviews, no conformity and delivery reviews. This role could involve travels for business in Europe later during the test campaign. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Degree in Aerospace Engineering with working experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment. Good experience understanding of Product and Quality Assurance principles and methods. Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP. Experience with Failure Analysis FMEA Failure mode and effects analysis. Experience of cleanroom operations. Experience with software functional verification would be a distinct advantage. Previous experience in Project Management would be a plus. Facilitation skills and proactive approach to problem solving. Fluency in English.
