AutoZone shares climbed as high as 674.84, a new all-time best, but pared gains to 1.6% at 660.17 in late morning trade. Reporting before the open Tuesday, the Memphis, Tenn.-based company posted earnings of $6.51 a share for its fiscal second quarter, which ended in February.
